When the clients were ready to refresh the 2000’s kitchen in their destination home, they asked us to create something special for their family that embraced the Utah location, functioned better for their family, and made the space feel larger. We opened up the wall between spaces to create a feeling of spaciousness, allowing everyone to be together. We researched historical architecture and furnishings design in the area and used that as inspiration for the oak and painted cabinetry, including a bespoke built-in hutch for displaying the clients’ collection of china and custom crown.
